SHIPPING POLICY
Delivery:
- Items are worldwide countrywide as soon as they are picked and packaged in the warehouse.
- We try our best to get your item to you within 10-14 working days
- Cost of delivery will be charged to the client and will be calculated at check out.
- Our delivery partner will contact you to arrange delivery.
- The person taking receipt of delivery of the item will have to sign a proof of delivery (POD).
- Customer is required to inspect the items on delivery.
- Customer to arrange the necessary access and to ensure that items will fit through the required doors, staircases and lifts.
- The customer will be charged for additional delivery costs due to failed deliveries or access restrictions.
Exchanges and Returns:
- Afrihouse understands the difficulty in inspecting an item when ordering online.
- As we would like you to feel confident purchasing from us we will accept returns under the following circumstances.
Return on defective or damaged stock:
- Afrihouse will exchange or refund any defective or damaged item.
- If your item has been damaged in transit please take a photo of the packaging and the damaged item and send it to info@afrihouse.co.za within 48 hours.
- The damaged item will have to be returned within 7 working days from date of delivery.
- We will request the courier to collect the items and return it to us.
- Once the defective or damaged item has been inspected by us we will notify you by email of our findings. If the item is deemed defective the item will be replaced, if available, at no cost to you within 10-14 working days.
- We will gladly refund you for the purchase in full if we are out of stock.
Returns:
- We will accept the return or exchange of purchased items within 7 working days from date of delivery.
- The product must be in a saleable condition (i.e. not used); and boxed as it arrived.
- The cost of returning the item to us will be for the customers account.
- Please email info@afrihouse.co.za to arrange your return.
- Please include the following details in your email: copy of purchase email; reason for return; refund or exchange.
- We will request the courier to collect the items and return it to us.
- If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card.
- Refunds are processed at month end and could take a few days to reflect.
